USSA Physical Assessment CD
Developed by the Sport Science and Coaches Education Departments of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA), the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding, the Physical Assessment CD-ROM gives athletes and coaches the ability to improve their athletic performance through quality physical testing.

The key to the development of a successful strength, fitness and conditioning program is proper assessment, tracking and evaluation. This CD-ROM will introduce coaches and athletes to the different concepts and uses of physical assessment used at the national team level as well as provide guidance for their practical implementation.

It features detailed descriptions of each physical component assessment including body composition, flexibility, core function/strength, strength and power—aerobic and anaerobic.

This is the fourth educational CD-ROM in the USSA Elite Performance Series. The Physical Assessment CD along with the other three educational CDs (Strength & Power Training, Sports Nutrition and Sports Psychology) is the result of lessons learned and programs developed for elite national team athletes.
